Welcome to Blessings in the Battle. I am so glad you found your way here, whether you came looking for encouragement, resources, testimony, or simply a place where hard things are spoken of with honesty and hope. This blog was created as a place to write about faith, healing, spiritual battle, trauma, survivorhood, and the long road of learning how to live with hope again. Some of what I share comes from deeply personal places, some of it is written for survivors, some of it is for the people who love them, and some of it is for anyone who has walked through pain and is trying to believe that God is still present in the middle of it.
My hope is that this blog can be one more small step towards understanding the depth of healing from SRA and mind control programming. I don’t have all the answers, and I am still on my own healing journey. I wish there was a quick fix formula that I could share, but this journey is long and difficult. As we take it one day at a time, I hope that sharing my lived experience will help normalize some of the things that nobody talks about.
If You Are New Here
Blessings in the Battle is first and foremost a blog. It is a place where I write about the battle and the blessing: the grief and the grace, the hard questions and the quiet mercies, the wounds that take time to name, and the ways Yahweh meets us in our mess. You will find writing here about faith in the middle of suffering, healing from trauma, survivor awareness and advocacy, spiritual warfare and discernment, living with hope after deep harm, and encouragement for the long process of restoration.
This site is not meant to replace counseling, crisis support, medical care, or pastoral care. I am not trying to present myself as the answer to anyone’s healing. What I can offer is testimony, reflection, encouragement, and resources gathered along the way. I believe there is something powerful about telling the truth carefully, especially when the truth has been hidden, dismissed, or made too painful to speak out loud.
Ways to Explore
If you are not sure where to start, the blog is the heart of this site. You can begin with the most recent posts or browse older reflections when you have the time and emotional space for them.
If you would like to know more about who is writing here and why this site exists, you can visit my About page. That is where I share more of the story behind Blessings in the Battle and the heart behind the writing.
The Survivor Resources page is a growing collection of links, tools, and support for survivors and those who care about them. I want that space to be useful without being overwhelming, so please move through those materials at your own pace and with care for where you are in your own process.
The Podcast page is where audio reflections, conversations, or related episodes can live as that part of the site grows. For now, it is simply one more way this space may become easier to access for people who need to listen rather than read.
For Survivors
If you are a survivor, I want you to know that your story matters and the parts of your life that feel confusing, hidden, or hard to explain are not beyond the care of Yahweh. Healing can be slow and layered. It can involve grief, questions, anger, tenderness, and days when all you can do is breathe. Still, I promise you that it is worth fighting for your healing. Don’t give up seeking help.
It can be really hard to find trustworthy people that understands how to help SRA/MC survivors, but there are a few good ones out there. Ask True Yeshua (Jesus Christ of Nazareth) to connect you to safe people. Be cautious of those with big platforms that love the spotlight. So many are programmed and don’t know it yet. I believe that it is a biblical principle to freely give what was freely given to us when it comes to answers and hope. I recommend finding someone that doesn’t charge an arm and a leg for their expertise. Money is a funny thing and when their pockets are bigger than their hearts for seeing survivors healed, that gives me a check in my spirit. Be careful, seek wise counsel, and use discernment.
Please read with care. If something feels too heavy, it is okay to pause, close the page, pray, breathe, reach out to someone safe, or come back another day. I never want this site to feel like another rabbit hole to go down or something you have to dig yourself out of. My hope is that it would be a place of honesty, not harm; a place where truth is handled with tenderness, not rushed past in the name of being strong.
For Friends, Family, And Supporters
If you are here because you love a survivor, thank you for wanting to understand. You may not always know what to say, and you may feel overwhelmed by the depth of what someone has carried. Start with humility. Listen more than you explain. Believe that healing cannot be rushed, and learn what safety, patience, and compassion can look like in ordinary life.
This site may help you better understand some of the language, pain, and hope surrounding trauma and restoration. It may also help you see why quick answers, spiritual cliches, or pressure to move on can wound more deeply than people realize. Sometimes the most loving thing you can do is remain steady, keep learning, and refuse to make someone’s healing about your own need to feel comfortable.
What This Site Is Becoming
Blessings in the Battle is still growing. For now, it will remain a blog with additional resources and space for audio or podcast content. Over time, it may also become a place to share more about the book I am writing, and the larger work Yahweh is unfolding, but I am not trying to rush that process or turn this into something before it is time.
This is a place to write faithfully, offer what I can, and let the next steps become clear in time. I believe there is value in beginning quietly and honestly, without needing to have the whole shape of the future figured out. Sometimes obedience looks like writing the next post, gathering the next resource, telling the truth a little more clearly, and trusting Yahweh with what grows from there.
