Have you ever had a dream that you knew was so much more than just a dream? I don’t usually remember my dreams very well, but when I do, they are packed with weirdness and information. Last night’s dream was no exception. It was a warning from the occult. I am not naïve to how they can operate in the spirit realm, but I am rejoicing in the fact that even in a dream state, I picked up my sword and overcame with scripture.
I bribed myself out of bed with the promise of a hot coffee flavored with homemade apple syrup and cream (so worth it!) around lunchtime. It’s been a lazy Sunday of enjoying the slow pace of the mundane things before tomorrow insists on being a Monday.
It’s not a shocker to anyone in my life that the warfare is amplified this month and dreams do not escape their attempts to call survivors back for rituals. Survivors know what’s really happening behind the curtain of pumpkin carvings and bonfire parties people call celebrating. We are all too familiar with why the shelters refuse to adopt out black cats and why children go missing.
We’ve looked demons in the eye and know the delight they take in Halloween costumes and cursed candy. But nobody wants to hear the truth. Everyone wants to save the children, stop trafficking, and protect their families except on Halloween.
Most Christians have no idea what spiritual warfare really is or how to fight. They don’t want to know. They would rather wear their Sunday best and bury their heads in the deception of it just being a fun tradition for the kids. And I don’t even fully blame them because infiltrated churches everywhere host harvest festivals and trunk or treat events as if changing the name glorifies God instead of exposing the darkness. I don’t envy those pastors on judgement day. I suppose my dream took me down that rabbit hole today.
I miss going to church. I’ve tried so many times to go back but once you know the truth, you can’t unsee the infiltration. I thought about how many churches are deceived, how many have refused to allow a Sunday school room to be used to minister to a survivor. So many churches have failed to be the church, and they have drastically failed to make it a safe place for survivors. Deliverance is shunned while stage lights and fog machines cancel out discernment. Worship leaders sing lyrics they don’t believe then step into the darkness to perform rituals. It utterly breaks Yahweh’s heart.
I started attending a Bible Study recently where a small group of ladies have stepped out of Babylon to actually be the church. They have studied to show themselves approved and are an absolute answer to prayer for me. We can’t fight the level of warfare that comes with helping survivors get free in isolation.
Survivors need the body of Christ, but many can’t find anyone safe. My day ended with a group that is going through Amanda Buys’ Journey2Freedom course together. Tonight’s topic was on the prophetic gifts. I was not surprised by the number of survivors who said they had this gift because the enemy loves to exploit it.
After the group, I had the privilege of getting on a call with the group leader and praying for the ministry and the attendees. There is something about taking individual needs before the throne and praying blessings over them that ushers in the presence of the Holy Spirit every time.
When we take the time to pray the prayers and sit with Him, everything shifts. It is the only way to heal. It is the work. Regardless of how we feel, if we are not entering the battle and praying from a place of connection then we are operating from a place of defeat.
I didn’t have the best day, but we prayed anyway, and we kept praying until we felt Him show up. It’s in His presence that there is fullness of joy. It’s in His presence that chains break and miracles happen.
His presence was so thick tonight that we just lingered with long pauses of silence to soak it in. Towards the end of the prayer, I saw Him in the spirit pulling us closer to give us a goodnight hug. His presence is unlike anything else, and we couldn’t bring ourselves to end the prayer. We ended the call instead and invited Him to please continue to commune with us individually as we prepared for bed. It was a precious gift ❤️
When you feel like you’re drowning, or find yourself spiraling out of control, your weapon is the secret place. The enemy cannot stand in His presence. If you are SRA and find you can’t experience His presence, then your work is to minister to cult loyal parts. They may feel like different people or not connected to you, but they are a part of you. Until you accept that you have cult loyal parts and accept them as they are, it’s going to be very hard to minister to them. Ask Yahweh to give you the ability to love them and see them as He sees them. Ask Him to meet you in the secret place and don’t leave until He arrives. It is SO worth it. You have already experienced the dark side, and you know where that has landed you. It’s time to experience the light of Yeshua and find true freedom.
